A further three points in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to seal straight passage to the last 16, especially after a prior setback against Strasbourg.

This match offered a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second consecutive match.

The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
